Analysis,Compare and contrast


  

E-commerce website analysis is the process of analysis e-commerce site’s performance with the goal of improving the experience for visitors and customers and increasing revenue. E-commerce website analysis tools help to understand the visitors’ experience through qualities and quantity data so businesses can make the change on their websites. 


Two E-commerce websites will be compared in this post. The first website is related to selling of the tech products to its consumers and the second website will be an online fashion retailer selling clothes to its consumers.

New Look 








Some comparisons for these websites are below: 

  • Both websites have different products to offer to customers. New Look is a clothing website whereas Samsung is a tech website but the purpose of both are to sell the products.
  • Both websites have latest offers advertised on the home page which are big enough to catch the viewers attention. 
  • The Samsung website have a chat bar on the page whereas New Look does not. 
  • New Look have the categories options displayed with the pictures so that it is very easy to spot the category people are look to shop in. On the other hand, Samsung website does not have the pictures on the categories but it does show these options on top of the home page. 
  • Further down the page, Samsung and New Look have more offers on their homepages.   
  • Both websites offer different types of payment options to make it easier for the customer to select the most suitable and pay for the products.  
  • At the end of the page, New Look gives an option to sign up for news letter and their Social media options whereas Samsung gives other options in regards to Support, Company and Products & Services. Samsung also has an option to follow on social media but it is not easy to spot as compared to the New Look website.
  • The product selection is very easy. Samsung offers chat support on the product selection page. the page also have the description of the products and pictures along with the list of items that customers can select to receive with their phone. 
  • New Look is similar to Samsung page as it shows the pictures of the product and different options that a customer can choose from. it also gives extra options of choosing similar products.

WWW (WORLD WIDE WEB) World Wide Web (WWW) was invented in 1989 by Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist while he was working at CERN.
